Here at Manchester United we pride ourselves on the level of importance we place on developing young players. Whether in the MUFC Academy and first team, or at one of our many Manchester United Soccer Schools football courses across the UK and throughout the world, few football clubs are as devoted to youth development as this club.

2009 was another great year for the club, with the first team crowned Premier League champions [for a third successive time] and Carling Cup winners. Success on the pitch did not stop there, however. Manchester United Soccer Schools enjoyed its most successful year so far, with over 1,800 kids attending one of our residential courses in the UK, and youngsters from over 75 different countries taking one of our courses.

Our priority is to ensure the development of every child attending one of our courses. Our development model, introduced across our player development and residential training courses, allows us to provide participating children with the platform to be taught all the fundamental aspects of the game without detracting from the fun and enjoyment of the course, which remain a most important factor.

We look forward too seeing even more children, parents and coaches enjoy and benefit from attending a Manchester United Soccer Schools course in 2010.
