From April 2007 to November 2008 Manchester United Soccer Schools courses attracted young players of all ages and abilities from different regions across the country. Working in partnership with former Manchester United player Jesper Olsen, the courses in Australia truly reflected Manchester United Soccer Schools’ commitment to taking the Club on the road.

With coaches flying from the UK to Australia especially to conduct skills development sessions for local boys and girls of all ages and abilities, the Manchester United Soccer Schools coaching team also took time to conduct community coaching sessions, giving players a taste of what it is like to train like a Manchester United player.

The opportunity for young players in Australia to experience a piece of the Manchester United magic was further extended to over 1,500 pupils in schools across Australia as part of the AIG Soccer4Kids campaign, an initiative encouraging pupils and their classmates to participate in sport.
