Residential Courses
In 2007, over 1200 children from 75 different countries took part in Manchester United Soccer Schools residential courses. The courses are based on Manchester United Academy programme but are delivered in a way that young players of all abilities can Learn to Play the United Way
Manchester United Soccer Schools operates its residential courses in private schools, providing a safe and secure environment, with accommodation, meals and other leisure activities all on one site.
Manchester United Soccer Schools has recognised the specific needs of each player and have the following courses available:
Junior Residential - 8-11 year olds, 6 days at Denstone College, Staffordshire for £495
Senior Residential - 12-16 year olds, 6 days at Denstone College, Staffordshire for £495
Girls - 8-16 year olds, 6 days at Denstone College, Staffordshire for £495
Goalkeepers - Senior Goalkeepers for players aged 16-18 year olds, 6 days at Denstone College for £495. Junior Goalkeepers for players aged 8-16 year olds at Dentone College for £495.
Every course includes:
- A presentation day at Old Trafford
- Behind the scenes tour of Old Trafford including the museum and the Megastore
- Full board accommodation plus all on site activities including swimming and basketball
- Full Soccer Schools training kit (shirt,shorts,socks, rain jacket)
- Giveaway pack including the exclusive player passport
Player Development Courses
All Player Development courses run over two days and are open to boys and girls aged between 6 and 14 years. All courses are from 9:30 - 3:30 pm with a presentation ceremony on day two at 3:30pm for just £59.95.
Once in a lifetime prizes include the chance to represent your town at the World Skills Final on the pitch at Old Trafford! There is even the chance to lead out the first team as the Soccer Schools mascot and tickets to premiership games.
Club Development Courses
Whether you are looking to kick start your season, seeking a mid-season break, or just ending the season on a high, a Manchester United Soccer Schools Club Development course could be perfect for junior football clubs in your area. Every course is tailor made to the specific needs of the club. This is a fantastic opportunity for young players in your area to learn the Manchester United football philosophy, taking football education and enjoyment to a new level.
At only £79.95 per player, the Club Development Courses provide a comprehensive coaching programme for clubs over 3 days. As each club have different aspirations and needs, we will design a package specifically for you including:
- Coach/parent sessions: Coaches and players will gain an insight into how top youth teams prepare, play and recover from training and matches with our practical and theory sessions.
- Use of Coaching Equipment: Teams will be able to use state of the art equipment to make training sessions fun as well as educational.
- Exclusive gift pack: including player passport
- Presentation night: The course finishes with a formal presentation to end the Soccer Schools experience on a high!
