Nani says he is still learning and wants to achieve so much more at United, after the Portuguese winger signed a new four-year contract extension.

The 23-year-old has been in excellent form so far in 2010, and the deal is reward for a run of displays that show Nani is finally fulfilling the potential he showed early on in his Reds career.

Nani, who signed for United in July 2007 from Sporting Lisbon, says: “I am delighted to have signed a new contract. It has been like a dream come true to play for Manchester United.

"The coaching staff have taught me so much about the game and I'm playing alongside some of the best players in the world.

"I'm looking forward to winning many more trophies with this team.”

Nani's boss Sir Alex Ferguson says he is still learning the game but is excited to have secured his services for another four years.

"He is an emerging talent within the team and has developed tremendously since joining the club," said the boss.

"We are pleased he has signed a new contract and I am sure he will have a long and successful future here at Manchester United."
