Another successful set of Saturday sessions have come to a close on our six week program at Power League Trafford Soccer Dome. With more and more players enrolling on each course these are proving to be a real hit with local football loving kids! According to MUSS UK Program Manager Mike Neary, “Our courses at Power League are proving to be a popular choice for junior players based in the North West.” What’s more, “They are a great opportunity for kids to learn to play the United way in a superb local indoor facility.”

 

These courses provide top-up skills sessions which can easily run alongside the current training and match schedules of local players. Not only that, they have proved to be great fun for those participating and great strides have been made on and off the field by the youngsters attending.  Mike continues, ‘We work on a new aspect of the game each week on the six week courses with improvements seen across the coaching groups. Each program follows on from the last so the players are tasked with taking on more and more advanced techniques the longer they are on the MUSS program. With the new Tuesday sessions we are hoping that even more local players can experience a Manchester United Soccer Schools course at Power League in 2009.”

 

There is still time to book on the next set of courses starting in the New Year. Player Development sessions will run on Saturdays (9-11am) and Tuesdays (4-6pm) on the following dates:

For kids of all abilities aged 6-14, the course syllabus will be based on our Player Development Model with a number of different aspects of the game worked on over the 6 week period. Participants will receive a Manchester United Soccer Schools give away and development plan at the end of the course.

 

The price for the 6 weeks is £47 (places must be pre-booked).

 

The courses aim to develop the players football ability in a fun and friendly environment where each child is challenged to learn new skills and tricks and will discover how Manchester United train their youngsters
