The annual Manchester United Soccer Schools’ World Skills Final will take place later this month, giving a group of lucky youngsters the chance to play at Old Trafford.
18 young players – selected for their skills test scores on MUSS courses over the past 12 months – will descend on Manchester in the hope of becoming the overall 2009 winner.
This year’s final will take place on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October, with winners from our UK and International courses participating in a series of skills tests at Manchester United’s Carrington training complex.
These youngsters will also be able to demonstrate their skills before United’s Barclays Premier League fixture against Blackburn Rovers at Old Trafford. They will not only get to play on the pitch prior to kick-off but will also be presented to the 75,000+ crowd.
For the youngsters and their parent/guardians it promises to be an experience they will never forget. Good luck, all.
