Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) in Abu Dhabi recently hosted former Manchester United star Andy Cole in the school’s new facility, the Clubhouse at Rawdhat.

Cole was invited by MUSS to watch the highly anticipated Manchester United versus Manchester City game, in which United ran out 2-1 winners over their Manchester neighbours, thanks to a Wayne Rooney wonder goal.

While there, the legendary former player, who holds the record for the second-highest number of goals scored in English Premier League history, thrilled youngsters by answering questions, offering advice and taking part in a MUSS training session.

Head Coach Andy Dixon said “it was a great opportunity for the players on our course to meet a Manchester United legend. I am sure it is something which they will never forget.”

The second module at MUSS in Abu Dhabi is currently underway and a new module will begin in April. Parents of children aged seven to 16 are encouraged to contact MUSS, located within the grounds of the Dome@Rawdhat on Airport Road, Abu Dhabi, to find out more about the school and its curriculum.
