An introduction to Manchester United Soccer Schools
"In 2011 we won the league title for a record 19th time, but we measure success not only by silverware. We’re also dedicated to achievements off the pitch, and Manchester United Soccer Schools enjoyed another successful year, coaching over 3500 kids at our courses in the UK, with youngsters from all over the world attending our excellent courses.
Few clubs in football are as devoted to the development of young footballers as Manchester United. You only have to look at our current first team squad to see our commitment to giving youth a chance, with the likes of Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley and Jonny Evans among those progressing from the junior ranks to senior level.
As a club we’re committed to playing exciting, attacking football. It’s become one of our hallmarks, based on a tradition that goes back to the days of Sir Matt Busby and his exciting post-war teams. Whether in our elite youth Academy, first team, or at one of our many Manchester United Soccer Schools football courses across the UK and throughout the world, we believe that young players should be given the freedom to express themselves. We want to help players improve but also to play with smiles on their faces.
2012 promises to be another exciting year for everyone taking a Manchester United Soccer Schools course and we look forward to welcoming children, parents and coaches.”
